  • A barbecue is held to give new members a chance to meet upper years.
Oct.
  • A professor/student bowling night is held annually.
Nov.
  • Every year with the help of the Big Brothers Association we give a Christmas party.
Jan.
  • An annual trip to Calgary to tour companies and attend a career fair.
  • IEEE Illumination - We organize the 2-day conference that focuses on helping students with the transition from school into industry as well as providing information about current engineering issues and technologies.
  • Spectrum is an exhibition of science and technology completely organized and hosted by students of the College of Engineering The show is held every 3 years with the next one in 2010.
Feb.
  • The Billinton Cup Pool Tournament provides upper year students the chance to seek revenge against the professors on the billiards table.
Mar.
  • High Voltage Classic - Huge! One of the largest student run charity events in Canada. Our annual 32 hour charity road hockey tournament is held each year in March. The tournament features 3 rinks, 64 teams, 32 hours of solid road hockey with prizes fortournament winners.
  • Every year we put on a banquet to present student awards.
  • We organize the IEEE papers competition to recognize exceptional design projects.
