Engineering and Computer Science Two-Degree Program
The Electrical Engineering/Computer Science Two-Degree Option allows a student to obtain a four-year College of Engineering B.E. degree and a three-year College of Arts and Science (Computer Science) B.Sc. degree in five years. This combines electrical engineering hardware emphasis with computer science software skills. Typically, this requires an additional 30 credits in Arts and Science carefully scheduled together with engineering courses. Similar programs are avialable in other disciplines in Engineering and other areas such as mathematics.

Computer Science Post-Degree Specialization Certificate
Following a four-year B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering, a student may obtain a Post-Degree Specialization Certificate (PDSC) in one additional year. This combines electrical engineering hardware emphasis with in-depth computer science training. This usually is accomplished with 3 additional Mathematics credits and 27 credits of Computer Science courses. While the above two-degree program requires courses in humanities and social science, the PDSC concentrates all additional courses in computer science. For more information please visit the Department of Computer Science web-site (www.cs.usask.ca).
