Student Activities Fund

The students in the College of Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan have over the past years been very active and successful in a variety of projects, including national and international competitions. Many of these activities require funding and in the past various student groups approached companies for support. This led to some difficulty with companies being approached many times. In 1995 the students decided to band together to raise money to support all the activities in the College. They formed the Student Activities Fund and solicited donations for this fund.  Once a year the Student Activities Fund on behalf of all the Engineering student organizations seeks donations from individuals and companies. A solicitations package is prepared and mailed.  If a company wishes, a presentation by one of the student groups can be arranged.
